a wedding we create together
Bressingham Hall is a family-run estate where we host only a limited number of weddings each year. Every celebration is personal, shaped by the couple, the season and the character of the place.
Bring us your ideas and we will bring our knowledge, experience and thoughtful guidance. Together, we will create a wedding that feels entirely your own—and entirely at home here.
WHAT DOES A WEDDING AT BRESSINGHAM COST?
Every wedding here is built around the couple, so the final cost will depend on guest numbers and the choices you make. We have also created a few packages to give you a clear idea of where to begin.
Twilight weddings start from around £7,000 at weekends, with midweek celebrations typically cost £4,000 for 100 guests and includes welcome drinks, pizza or burger and dj. Our most popular option, the Classic Wedding, can vary between £11,000 and £18,000 and includes two nights’ accommodation at Bressingham Hall, a 3 course wedding breakfast for 50-70 people, a full drinks package, canapés with welcome drink, dj and evening bites for 100-120 people.
These are starting points rather than fixed formulas. We will work with you to shape the day—and the budget—around what matters most to you.

The best weddings aren’t about impressing guests. They’re about celebrating the two of you.
garden ceremony
The gardens offer many beautiful places to exchange your vows, from the shelter of an old oak to open lawns surrounded by trees and flowers. Rather than asking you to choose a fixed ceremony spot months in advance, we work with you to find the setting that feels right—and make the final decision closer to the day, when we know what the season and weather will bring.
If the weather turns, your ceremony can move into the High Barn and lose none of its warmth or sense of occasion.

church weddings
For couples wishing to have a religious ceremony, the village church can be reached on foot through the gardens of Bressingham Hall. The walk between the Hall and the church is a memorable part of the day in itself, allowing the celebration to move naturally through the landscape. Reception, wedding breakfast and evening party will happen in the Barn and marquee. A Church wedding at Bressingham brings together the tradition of a religious ceremony with the beauty and relaxed character of a party.

twilight weddings
A twilight wedding offers a different rhythm: a later ceremony, drinks in the evening light and a relaxed celebration that moves naturally into music and dancing.
It can be intimate or lively, simple or beautifully styled. Without the expectations of a full traditional wedding day, there is more freedom to concentrate on the parts that matter most to you—good food, the people you love and a wonderful evening together.

“A Ride Through Time, A Gift of Love”
A gift of love from Alan to Flora, the Gallopers bring a little extra magic to weddings at Bressingham—and grown-ups love them just as much as children do.
Booking them for private use between your meal and the evening party creates a seamless transition. They lift everyone out of the post-dinner lull and give evening guests something to join straight away. By the time the cake is cut and the music starts, everyone has mingled, laughed and is ready to party.

Because love isn’t about looking the part, but feeling it – and here, it’s all about what truly matters.
more than a pretty backdrop
The gardens make an extraordinary setting for photographs—especially as the light turns golden—but they are here to be lived in, not simply looked at. Across 17 acres, paths invite you to wander, remarkable trees create places to pause, and every turn offers something new to discover. As evening draws in, a twilight walk through the gardens is a lovely way to bridge the space between your meal and the party beyond.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED, THOUGHTFULLY CHOSEN
Bressingham is not an empty space waiting to be filled. Tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery and the essentials for your celebration are already here, chosen for their quality and their place within the Barn.
We can also help with flowers, draping, lighting and the finishing touches that bring everything together. Our collection includes cotton table runners, reusable candles and dried arrangements, while our fresh flowers are seasonal and gathered from the gardens and nursery whenever possible. The approach is natural, thoughtful and light on waste, using beautiful things made to last.
You are equally welcome to bring your own florist or other trusted suppliers. We will offer advice, a list of trusted suppliers, share what works well here and help you create something that feels personal while remaining at home in its surroundings.

spaces that flow together
A wedding at Bressingham does not unfold in a single room. The High Barn, two marquees, courtyard and stretch tent create a collection of connected spaces, each with its own atmosphere and purpose.
As the day moves from ceremony to drinks, wedding breakfast and evening party, the setting changes with it. Everything is close enough to feel effortless, while giving each part of the celebration its own sense of occasion.

food made personal
Our in-house catering team can create food to suit a wide range of tastes and styles of celebration. Our thoughtfully designed packages make planning simple, with tried-and-tested menus that work beautifully for a wedding day.
If you have something more personal in mind, we are also happy to create a bespoke menu with you. We particularly enjoy exploring international cuisines and dishes that reflect your family, culture or story—because the food should feel as much a part of your celebration as everything else.
