Matt Bloom, Venue Managing Director
Matt Bloom grew up at Bressingham, surrounded by the gardens his grandfather Alan Bloom, mum Rosemary, and dad Adrian lovingly created — the same enchanted 17 acres that now form the backdrop to your wedding day.
His childhood was steeped in the landscape: building camps in the woods, playing hide and seek through the rooms of Bressingham Hall, and spending long summer days (often reluctantly!) weeding the borders. At 18, Matt set out to pursue his love of traditional craftsmanship, training as a timber framer and travelling the world on foot and by land — honing his skills and restoring historic buildings, from remote countryside barns to Westminster Palace in London.
In 2016, Matt returned home with a renewed sense of purpose and a deep desire to give back to the place that had shaped him. He took on the restoration of Bressingham Hall and the High Barn, bringing them back to life with care and vision. What drives him now is the wish to share this extraordinary place with others — not as a showcase of family history, but as a living, welcoming space where new stories can begin.
Today, Matt runs weddings and events alongside his partner Erica. From your first visit to the final farewell, he works quietly but attentively behind the scenes — ensuring that everything runs smoothly, that the Hall and Barn look their very best, and that your day feels as easy and joyful as it should. He carries the big responsibilities with humility and heart, always focused on creating something truly special for each couple.
Beyond weddings, Matt continues to care for the wider Estate — restoring the surrounding fenland and farmland, reintroducing heritage breeds of pigs (with goats and ducks on the way), and keeping alive the beauty and biodiversity of Bressingham for generations to come.
Erica Vaccari Venue Co-director; in – house styling and decorating
Erica Vaccari grew up between Italy, Slovenia, and the UK, and has a background deeply rooted in hospitality and travel.
She has run a boutique hotel in Tuscany and has set up and managed several holiday properties across Tuscany, Sicily, and Umbria. Since 2001, she has been organising luxury walking and nature holidays, combining her love of landscapes, culture, and slow travel. In 2012, she founded her own garden tour agency, curating unique experiences for travellers passionate about nature, beauty, and authenticity.
Erica came to Bressingham in 2020 for the love of gardens — she considers Foggy Bottom one of the top ten in the UK, and it was this extraordinary beauty that first drew her in. She quickly became an integral part of the Estate, supporting Bressingham in all its different facets.
In 2025, she and Matt began running weddings at Bressingham Hall & High Barn together. From your very first email to the moment you raise a glass on the big day, Erica and Matt are your dedicated points of contact — working closely to ensure every element of your wedding is seamless, personal, and of the highest quality.
With a particular flair for styling spaces and creating a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, Erica’s passion lies in making people feel cared for and gently guided. She listens attentively, embraces each couple’s unique vision, and helps bring it to life in a way that feels effortless and quietly magical. Erica also curates our trusted circle of local suppliers — from florists to caterers and musicians — whose talent and warmth help make each celebration at Bressingham deeply personal, beautiful, and unforgettable.
Samantha Tawn- Venue Wedding day Coordinator
Samantha Tawn is our wonderful Venue Wedding Day Coordinator, and the reassuring presence every couple hopes to have by their side on the big day. She has been coordinating weddings at Bressingham for 3 years.
Sam looks after our couples from the day before the wedding through to the final farewells, making sure everything unfolds seamlessly and according to plan. She’s the go-to person on the day — quietly working behind the scenes, keeping timings on track, and ensuring the little details are just as you’d imagined.
Alongside her wedding day role, Sam occasionally leads viewings.
Calm, organised, and endlessly kind, Sam is one of those people you’ll be so glad to have had on your wedding day.
