A Spring Open Morning at Bressingham Hall & Barn

As we move further into late spring, the gardens and grounds at Bressingham Hall & High Barn are really bursting into colour with peonies, irises, rhododendrons and magnolias, and we would love to invite you to join us for our May Open Day on Sunday 24th May from 10am–1pm.
The morning is intended simply as a relaxed opportunity to experience the Barn, gardens and outdoor spaces at your own pace — whether you’re considering a wedding, private celebration, anniversary party, family gathering or another special event in the future.
The venue will be open to wander through and enjoy, with coffee, music and a relaxed atmosphere throughout the morning. Guests are welcome to explore the gardens, spend time in the Barn and courtyard spaces, visit the bar and stretch tent, and get a feel for how the venue flows for relaxed summer entertaining and celebrations.
We hope the morning will offer a relaxed and enjoyable start to a Sunday — an opportunity to enjoy the gardens and atmosphere of the venue, have a coffee, listen to music and simply spend a little time here at your own pace.
We’re also delighted that a small number of some of our favourite local suppliers will be joining us during the morning, including Sarah from Sassy Floral Design, Mrs Garrua MUA, Broomvale Bridal Gowns and illustrator Isobel Johnson. DJ Karl from Kid Events will also be playing a relaxed Ibiza-style set in the stretch tent throughout the morning.
There is no formal booking required if you would simply like to browse and experience the venue.

What to expect
During the morning you’ll be free to wander between the Barn and the gardens, getting a sense of how the spaces flow together and how a wedding day here might unfold.
Late May is one of the most magical moments at Bressingham. The gardens are overflowing with rhododendrons, magnolias, peonies and irises, while the long evenings and softness of the season bring a romantic atmosphere to the Hall and Barn. More like a relaxed gathering than a traditional event venue fair, this is a chance to wander at your own pace, experience the spaces naturally, and begin imagining how your wedding here could feel.
There’s no fixed route and no formal timetable. You’re welcome to wander at your own pace, with members of our team on hand throughout the morning if you’d like to talk or ask questions. We’ll also be offering a couple of informal walk-throughs of the spaces for those who would find that helpful.
