The High Barn at Bressingham Hall is a stunning space making it perfect for both the ceremony and wedding breakfast. An impressive traditional brick and stone building with high ceilings and truly beautiful wooden frame with exposed beams; the High Barn is a romantic Norfolk gem. The barn has undergone an amazing 2 year renovation with extraordinary attention to detail creating the ideal setting for your wedding. The spacious courtyard allows for reception drinks to be served, as well as that perfect space to relax outdoors throughout the day. As the evening approaches, the lights are dimmed and the Barn’s atmosphere changes to provide the perfect backdrop for dining, drinking, dancing and celebrating your big day.

Recently renovated, Bressingham Hall is a quintessentially English Grade II listed mansion house which retains its period features, whilst also creating a warm and welcoming environment for the bridal party. The master bedroom features a wonderful four poster bed with amazing views across the gardens. A large reception hall leads to an elegantly decorated drawing room and dining room, and the grand staircase takes you to the seven spacious and beautifully furnished bedrooms for up to 18 guests.  A butler and private chef can also be provided to make your stay that little bit extra special. As an added feature, guests have their very own private garden with conservatory and terrace, to enjoy the view all year round.

Civil Marriages at Bressingham Hall & High Barn

Bressingham Hall & High Barn is licenced to hold civil weddings, partnerships and naming ceremonies. The wedding service is carried out by the Registrar, who must be contacted and booked by you. Bressingham Hall & High Barn is registered with the Norwich Registration Office – T: 0344 800 8020; E: ceremonyenquiry@norfolk.gov.uk. The High Barn at Bressingham Hall can seat up to 150 guests including the bride and groom.

If you are planning on getting married in your local parish church, you can then come to Bressingham Hall & High Barn for your wedding reception. Alternatively, we can supply contact details of local churches for blessings or services.

Night time at Bressingham High Barn

After the wedding ceremony, drinks can be served in the High Barn, or alternatively in the courtyard. We have a selection of fantastic backdrops which make wonderful photo opportunities, especially our romantic bridge. The meal is then served in the Grand Marquee which is personalised to your specification, with drinks served all day from the main bar. We have plenty of free parking for your guests, and cars can be left overnight, but must be picked up by 10am the following day.
